Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was not as beachfront as we had hoped, and the rooms felt a bit outdated and mildewy, but they did have all the essential amenities we needed. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even preparing breakfast for runners in the OBX marathon. The location had its drawbacks with parking issues, but being as close to the waterfront as possible was a definite plus. The dining experience had both good and bad moments, with some dishes hitting the spot while others were a letdown.
The hotel may have some room for improvement, as the rooms are a little dated and small, but our non-smoking room was empty during our entire stay. On the bright side, the service was incredibly friendly and kind, ensuring we always had clean towels and even prepared breakfast for guests running in the OBX marathon. The location is a mixed bag, with prime beachfront access but overcrowding issues making parking a hassle at times. The dining experience is decent, offering a small hot bar and waffle station, but it might get repetitive. Overall, a stay with ups and downs you might want to consider.
This hotel had some great aspects, like the convenient location in downtown Kitty Hawk and being close to attractions. The experience was marred by the overcrowded parking situation, but the service was fantastic overall. The dining options were good, although a bit repetitive. The rooms were comfortable, but the pricing strategy was questionable.
